Catamaran Sailing Adventure

Relax on board, or be active and learn or practice sailing as you discover the beautiful protected waters of Dakhla bay, its scenery and its wildlife. Experience the thrill of sailing as the wind fills the sails of this catamaran, capable of crossing oceans with wind power alone.

Join us at our base at Bultalha, take the service boat out to the anchorage, join the catamaran, raise anchor and sail! You have the option to relax on the catamaran or learn or practice sailing. The most popular route is to follow the sandbanks (where you will see wading birds, often including flamingos) to the island – a dreamy location with turquoise waters and white sand beaches. Drop anchor and take the service boat to the beach and visit the island. At the island you can walk, birdwatch, climb the hill for a beautiful view, or swim.

Please contact us directly if you wish to book a private excursion on the catamaran. We can offer half-day or whole day bookings by arrangement for groups of up to 10 people. For whole day private bookings there is the option of a BBQ lunch on board – enjoy a freshly cooked meal on board while soaking in the beautiful view of Dragon Island! For whole day private bookings, alternative routes to our usual Dragon Island trip are also available on request, when conditions of wind and tide allow.
